Shipping

Parcels are normally dispatched within 3 working days, however they are often dispatched sooner. Please allow 5 - 7 working days for delivery from time of placing your order.  Orders go out by next day sign for special delivery, and recorded delivery to ensure they reach you safely and are covered by insurance. There is no delivery charge for UK parcels. There is a charge of £10.00 for European Union parcels.  We ship to the UK and EU and only ship to the cardholders address.

The Skin Service Ltd does not accept responsibility or liability for items returned due to non-delivery. i.e. customer does not contact carrier to arrange another delivery or pick up item from post office collection point if the parcel was unsuccessfully delivered due to the customer being out etc.

Any damage should be notified to the carrier at point of delivery and to the delivery centre. It is your responsibility to check the condition of the goods upon delivery before signing for them. If the goods appear damaged please state this on the delivery documentation "goods arrived damaged" this will help us to make claims on your behalf from the couriers should the actual item prove to be damaged. If you sign for a 'Clean Bill of Delivery', any insurance claims against the courier for damage in transit will be void. Please contact us in this instance.

All goods are shipped from the United Kingdom, where The Skin Service Ltd is based. If your delivery address is outside the United Kingdom, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are charged when the shipment reaches your country. Any such additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. You should note that customs policies vary widely from country to country; The Skin Service Ltd advises each customer to contact their local customs office for further information. Please note that cross-border shipments are often subject to inspection by customs authorities.

You may also be responsible for payment of import duties to your local authority. Please note that for many countries, we are required to declare the total value of goods shipped, even when that order is a gift. These charges are often collected by your Postal Service and may be described by them as "Postal Charges".

Unfortunately, the actions of individual Customs Authorities are out of our control, the purchaser is responsible and we accept no liability for their actions.

Times of high postal volume, particularly at Christmas for example, should be taken into account when placing your order. It is recommended that you consult the Royal Mail Christmas posting deadline schedule, available through your local post office.

Force Majeure.
The Skin Service Ltd shall not be liable for any default due to circumstances beyond reasonable control of the The Skin Service Ltd.
